Important Notice for This Update

• If you update your IX83 firmware to IX83_FwUpdate_20221125.zip, it is necessary to update your IX3-BSW software to version 1.5.2.
• If you are using cellSens™ imaging software, it is necessary to update your cellSens software to version 4.2.1 or a later version.
  • Please confirm whether the update for your cellSens software is free by visiting the following webpage in advance: https://licenseinformation.olympus-sis.com/
  • If update is not free, purchase an update license for access to the latest version.

Software Modifications

Software modifications from the IX83_FwUpdate_20170721.zip to the IX83_FwUpdate_20221125.zip support the FV40-ZDC830 unit, the TruFocus™ Z-drift compensator for the FV4000 system.

Installation Procedure

1. Before installation

This software comes with an IX83 Firmware LICENSE AGREEMENT. Prior to downloading the software, please read the IX83 Firmware LICENSE AGREEMENT. When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you have agreed to this AGREEMENT.

2. Download procedure

1) Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page.

• Download file name: IX83_FwUpdate_20221125.zip (11.0MB)

2) Please input the serial number of IX3-CBH.

• Serial number is the alphanumeric characters indicated on your IX3-CBH. Refer to the figures below.

3. ​Installation procedure

Please proceed with the installation in accordance with the instruction included in the folder downloaded during step 2, the Download procedure.
