This is the IX3-BSW software update (version 1.5.2).

Important notice for update

• If you are using cellSens™ imaging software, it is necessary to update your cellSens software to version 4.2.1 or a later version.
  • Please confirm whether the update for your cellSens software is free by visiting the following webpage in advance: https://licenseinformation.olympus-sis.com/
  • If update is not free, purchase the update license for access to the latest version.
• It is necessary to update your IX83 firmware to IX83_FwUpdate_20221125.zip.
• Moving the direction of the IX3-SSU motorized stage depends on the IX3-BSW software version as follows:
• • For turning the stage handle in the clockwise direction:
    · Version 1.2.1 or earlier   -->   X: right / Y: front
    · Version 1.3.1 or later      -->   X: right / Y: back
    For version 1.2.1 or earlier, moving the direction of the IX3-SSU motorized stage can be unified with this version up to version 1.3.1 or later.

Software Modifications

Software modifications from version 1.4.9 to version 1.5.2 support the FV40-ZDC830, the TruFocus™ Z-drift compensator for the FLUOVIEW™ FV4000 system.

Installation Procedure

1. Before installation

This software comes with an IX3-BSW LICENSE AGREEMENT. Prior to downloading the software, please read the IX3-BSW LICENSE AGREEMENT. When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you have agreed to this AGREEMENT.

2. Download procedure

1) Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page. 

• Download file name: installer_IX3-BSW_010502.zip (9.2 MB)

2) Please input the serial number of I3-TPC.

• Serial number is the alphanumeric characters indicated on your touch panel controller (I3-TPC). Refer to the figures below. 

3. Installation

The installation manual is contained in the downloaded file written in above in step 2, the Download procedure. Please follow the installation procedure accordingly.

Verification of Version

Tap the System Setting button on the Menu screen of the touch panel controller to display the System Setting screen. Check the version displayed.
