The main laser combiner is the heart of the laser system. Select up to 5 diode lasers, or leave a port open to add an additional three lasers via the sub combiner. Add this optional combiner at any time with up to 3 diode lasers for a maximum of 7 laser lines in combination with the main laser combiner. |
Modular Compact Solid-state Laser SystemThe modular laser system enables the user to define the laser platform with up to seven long lasting diode lasers (405, 488, 561, 640 standard, and 445, 515, 594 nm optional) together with the main combiner (FV31-MCOMB) and the sub combiner (FV31-SCOMB). The main-combiner enables configurations with 405, 488, 561 and 640 nm and any one from 445, 515 or 594 nm laser. |
Stable Laser PowerAn optional laser intensity monitoring and feedback control system in the scan unit ensures stable excitation intensity during prolonged time-lapse observations. |
Ultra-fast and Flexible Laser ControlUltra-fast and flexible laser intensity modulation is standard with the FV3000. All laser lines are controlled by acousto-optic tunable filters (AOTFs) facilitating advanced experiments. |
One Broadband Fiber for All Laser LinesAll laser lines are delivered via a single broadband fiber, effectively removing lateral shift between different laser wavelengths. The system employs UIS2 objectives, to minimize shifts in the axial direction for outstanding performance. Color shift and position shift between images are also minimized for reliability in colocalization experiments. |
Low Operating CostLower power consumption and heat dissipation, reliability and lifetime are big points of a low operating cost. Furthermore the fully packaged individual solid-state laser modules offer plug & play simplicity allowing faster integration and thereby reducing the cost of integration and system down times. |
