1. General

This software will update the DP Controller Ver. 3.1.1.267 to Ver. 3.2.1.276.
The DP Manager remains unchanged from Ver. 3.1.1.208.

• To check your current version of DP Controller or DP Manager, activate the DP Controller or the DP Manager and click [Help] and [Version].
• The DP Controller and the DP Manager are included in the CD-ROM “DP-BSW” of the basic software.

2. Software Modifications

• Main modifications of DP Controller Ver.3.2.1.276 (Ver.03.02)
  • Corrected the failure that occurred immediately after the “automatic level adjustment” of the level adjustment function was turned OFF.
  • Changed the full-screen default state from [Pixel same magnification] to [Adjust to desktop].
  • Changed the control to save the AE area and the focus area when the DP Controller is closed.
  • Changed the upper limit of scale line width from [4] to [16].
  • Improved the image quality for MPEG images of 680 x 512 or smaller.
  • Corrected the spelling error in the pull-down menu on the full screen display (for the OS in non-Japanese versions).

3. Installation procedure

1. Before installation
   • This software comes with an "OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT". Before downloading the software, please read the "OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT". When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you have agreed to this AGREEMENT.
      
2. Download
   • Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page.
     * Download file name: [DPBSW0302.exe] (11.4MB).
     * Serial No. : This Serial No. is the alphanumeric characters indicated on your   DP71/DP70/DP30BW camera head (see below).
     * CD code : This CD code is printed on the CD-ROM “DP-BSW” of the basic software (see   below).
     
     Please use the number printed here for the serial number.
     
     
     Please use the CD code printed here.
     
      
3. Installation procedure
   • Insert the CD-ROM [DP-BSW Ver. 03.01] of the basic software into the CD-ROM drive.
   • Double click the file [DPBSW0302.exe] you saved in the folder in procedure 2 to open it.
   • Installer will boot up. Proceed with the installation in accordance with the installer instructions.
   • Read installation details

   * The software cannot be installed unless the CD-ROM [DP-BSW Ver. 03.01] of the basic   software is inserted into the CD-ROM drive.
   The software cannot be installed unless the user account is registered as a "Computer   Administrator".
   If the user account is registered as a "Restricted Account", change it to a "Computer   Administrator" account.
   (For the user account registration, refer to the instruction manual for your PC.)

4. Verification of version
   • When the installation is complete, boot up the DP Controller and the DP Manager and click [Help] and [Version]. If the software has loaded properly,
     3.2.1.276 will appear for the DP Controller.
     3.1.1.208 will appear for the DP Manager.
