1. General

(Updating the DP-BSW Ver. 3.1.1 or 3.2.1 to Ver. 3.3.1)

This software will update the DP Controller Ver. 3.1.1 and 3.2.1 to Ver. 3.3.1.
And This software will update DP Manager Ver. 3.1.1 to Ver.3.3.1.

• To check your current version of DP Controller or DP Manager, activate the DP Controller or the DP Manager and click [Help] and [Version].
• The DP Controller and the DP Manager are included in the CD-ROM “DP-BSW” of the basic software.

2. Software Modifications

• Main modifications of the [DP-BSW Ver.3.3.] (Ver.03.03)
  • Correspondence OS: Windows Vista Business (32-bit), Ultimate (32-bit) / Windows XP (SP2)
    (Windows 2000 is not supported.)
• Main modifications of DP Controller Ver.3.2.1.276 (Ver.03.02)
  • Corrected the failure that occurred immediately after the "automatic level adjustment" of the level adjustment function was turned OFF.
  • Changed the full-screen default state from [Pixel same magnification] to [Adjust to desktop].
  • Changed the control to save the AE area and the focus area when the DP Controller is closed.
  • Changed the upper limit of scale line width from [4] to [16].
  • Improved the image quality for MPEG images of 680 x 512 or smaller.
  • Corrected the spelling error in the pull-down menu on the full screen display (for the OS in non-Japanese versions).

3. Installation procedure

1. Before installation
   • This software comes with an "OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT". Before downloading the software, please read the "OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT". When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you have agreed to this AGREEMENT.
      
2. Download
   1. Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page.
      * Download file name: [DPBSW0303.exe] (17.66MB).
   2. Please use the number printed here for the "Serial No.".
      
      
      Please use the code printed here for the "CD code".
       
3. Installation procedure
   1. We strongly recommend that you exit all Windows programs.
   2. Insert the CD-ROM [DP-BSW Ver. 03.01] or [DP-BSW Ver. 03.02] of the basic software into the CD-ROM drive.
   3. Double click the file [DPBSW0303.exe] you saved in the folder in procedure 2.
   4. Installer will boot up. Proceed with the installation in accordance with the installer instructions. Read installation details
      
      * If the CD-ROM [DP-BSW Ver. 03.01] or [DP-BSW Ver.03.02] is not inserted to the CD-ROM drive, it is not possible to install the updating basic software [DP-BSW Ver.03.03].
      * The software cannot be installed unless the user account is registered as a "Computer Administrator".
      If the user account is registered as a "Restricted Account", change it to a "Computer Administrator" account.
      (For the user account registration, refer to the instruction manual for your PC.)
       
4. Verification of version
   • When the installation is complete, boot up the DP Controller and the DP Manager and click [Help] and [Version]. If the software has loaded properly,
     3.3.1.292 will appear for the DP Controller.
     3.3.1.222 will appear for the DP Manager.
