2. General Information

OlyVIA is a free image viewer software that can read the data captured using VS200/VS120 slide scanners and cellSens™ software. Images saved in VSI or TIFF file format can be read. This software opens files with read/write access so that simple image processing tasks (e.g., save image in a different file format or crop image) can be completed.

3. Installation Procedure

1. Before installation

This software comes with an END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT. Prior to downloading the software, please read the END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT. When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you have agreed to this AGREEMENT.

2. System requirements

Operating System:
Microsoft Windows 10, 64bit
Microsoft Windows 11, 64bit
OS other than the above are not supported.

CPU:
Intel Pentium 4:
2 GHz or larger (recommended)
1.3 GHz (minimum)

Memory: 1024 MB or larger (recommended)
512 MB (minimum)

Available space on hard disk:
750 MB

Display monitor:
1280 × 1024 pixel resolution with 32-bit true colors

Input devices:
2-button mouse (scroll wheel recommended)
Keyboard

Note: Windows Automatic Updates and any virus protection program must be disabled.

4. Download

Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page.

5. Installation procedure

Download the file and double click the downloaded file in order to unzip the file. Double click the Setup.exe in the unzipped file. Then start the installer.
After reading the EVIDENT END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT, follow the instructions on the screen.

6. Uninstall procedure

In the Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs, then select OlyVIA.
