Dr. Pai discusses the latest techniques in sperm selection and deselection such as microfluidics, zeta potential, Magnetic Assisted Cell Sorting (MACS), artificial intelligence enabled sperm selection, physiological ICSI (PICSI), intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) and many more. He dwells on the new techniques of spindle check and Piezo-ICSI as well; and their role in oocyte freezing and cytoplasmic transfer techniques such as spindle transfer and pro-nuclear transfer for treating patients of children with mitochondrial disorders as well as patients with poor quality oocytes.
