The 130 W U-HGLGPS light guide-coupled illumination system is the ideal stable light source for fluorescence microscopy. With a very long-lifetime, its powerful pre-centered burner reduces running costs, is very easy to install and delivers excellent long- and short-term stability. Its six-step iris effectively controls intensity and enables simple, staged intensity adjustment. Coupling via the light guide reduces thermal effects and vibration at the microscope frame, ensuring
optimal experimental conditions.
The powerful 130 W burner has an average lifetime of 2,000 hours. This greatly reduces running costs compared to traditional mercury burners, with no compromise to illumination quality.
Stable and Uniform Light Output
The DC-powered burner delivers excellent short- and long-term stability, ensuring that experiment settings can be reproduced time and time again.
Even illumination - Alignment free
The pre-centered burner eliminates complicated alignment procedures for very easy installation. Illumination is always even across the entire field of view.
Minimized Light Guide Deterioration
Built-in UV- and IR-cut filters (340 nm; 780 nm) cut off UV and IR wavelengths, which can shorten the light guide's lifetime. This ensures cost-effective use of the system in the long term.
Intensity Adjustment
The incorporated six-step iris effectively controls intensity. Intensity can be set to 100 %, 50%, 25 %, 12 %, 6 %, 3 % and 0 %.
Less Vibration and Heat
The light source is coupled via a light guide, which reduces thermal effects and vibration at the microscope frame for more accurate visualization of a range of samples.
