Peperino Tuff
Tuff is a type of rock primarily comprised of compacted volcanic ash or dust, though it may also occasionally contain larger fragments. Soft and porous compared to many other types of rock, some varieties of tuff gained use in the past as a building material, although they are generally of little economic importance in modern times.
