Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

  • Credit card orders can be placed by phone at 1-800-225-8330, option 1.
  • Many of our products can be purchased using a credit card on our webstore.
  • All other orders require a purchase order. Please click here to request a purchase order form.
  • Purchase orders should include relevant customer information, including bill to, ship to, negotiated or approved payment terms, buyer contact information, part numbers, quantities, and pricing. If a quote has been received, please make sure to reference that on the purchase order.

What is my order status?

We can confirm your order’s status by phone or email. Call us at 1-800-225-8330, option 1 or click here to email us. Please have your purchase order number or sales order reference number available or include it in your email.

When will my items ship?

We send confirmations for all orders placed with Olympus. The ship date for each line item is referenced on that confirmation. If the ship date has passed and you have not been notified of a revised ship date, call or email us, and we will provide you with a valid ship date. We can be reached at 1-800-225-8330, option 1 or by email.

How do I request a return?

Olympus will provide a return authorization (RA) for any approved credit return. Please click here to request a credit return.

Where can I get a copy of an invoice?

For a copy of an invoice, please contact us with the invoice number or purchase order number at 1-800-225-8330, option 1 or send us an email.

What is Olympus’ tax ID number?

The Tax ID for OSSA Corp. DBA EVIDENT SCIENTIFIC is 56-2538906.

What is Olympus’ return policy?

All returns must be authorized by Olympus and requests must be made within 30 days of when you received the product. Please contact us by phone (1-800-225-8330, option 1) or email to receive an approved RA number.

Orders received and confirmed for custom manufactured products may not be cancelled or returned without written authorization from Olympus. Olympus reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if a confirmed order is cancelled or returned.

Orders and warranties for Olympus equipment are accepted based on Olympus’ terms and conditions. You can view these at https://www.olympus-lifescience.com/terms-of-use/.

How can I request a quote?

How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel an order by phone at 1-800-225-8330, option 1 or by email. Please have your purchase order number or sales order reference number available or include it in your email.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Shipping cost is based on multiple factors, including the delivery method (ground, overnight, etc.), the weight of the items, the warehouse it is shipping from, and the boxes’ dimensions. Our Customer Service team can provide you an estimated amount based on this information by email. Click here to request a shipping quote.

What credit cards do you accept? Do you accept PayPal®, Apple Pay®, or other forms of electronic payment?

  • We accept the following credit cards: American Express®, Discover®, MasterCard®, and Visa®.
  • Wire transfer and automated clearing house (ACH).
  • We do not accept PayPal or Apple Pay at this time.

Can I pay an invoice with a credit card?

Yes, you can pay an invoice using a credit card by calling us at 1-800-225-8330, option 1. Please have the invoice number or purchase order number ready to reference.

How do I make Olympus an approved vendor?

Olympus will complete any new vendor forms or applications via email. Click here to send us a request.

Where do I return my items for credit?

All returns must be authorized by Olympus. Once approved, an RA number and instructions for where to return the items will be provided. Click here to request a credit return.

Is Olympus a large business, small business, or veteran owned?

How do I update my customer info with Olympus?

You can update your shipping address, billing address, company name, and other details by phone at 1-800-225-8330, option 1 or by email. If your company name has changed, we will need an authorized letter indicating the changes on company letterhead.

I received the wrong items, who do I contact to fix this?

We’re sorry you received the wrong items. Please click here to contact us. Please include the purchase order number or sales order reference and a description of exactly what items you received. If possible, please include any pictures of the items and the packing slip.

What are your hours of operation?

Olympus’ hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. EST to 7 p.m. EST.
